A HUGE thanks to Steve from Mad-Moto's!!!!  If you haven't heard Steve Mad-Ison has started an enthusiasts store.  Well he is just getting his store off the ground, but he has my support.  Those of you that know me, might know that I have not had the best moto luck Smiley  Well today was no different.  I actually just got my bike back on the road today, battery issue's.  Well I fried my new battery somehow, and of course I was conveniently located on Hwy 66 East of Longmont when I encountered my new mishap.

Needless to say I didn't have a whole lot of choices, the bike was dead on the side of the road.  Well Steve said he wanted to do whatever it took to show people he would go out of his way to help people, and that is what he did for me tonight.

First, what shop would you be able to reach at 6pm on a Saturday night?  Ah probably none around here that I know of.  Second, what shop would say "Sure, I'll come get you man!" when your broke down way out in BFE or BF-Longmont, and not hours later but right away.  Again, no shops come to mind for me.

Anyway, first he tried to help me trouble shoot things as he was getting his trailer, then he was on the way.  Heading up on a Saturday night at the drop of the hat!!!!  That is going the extra, extra mile in my book.

Well that's not all, besides not taking a dime for doing it, he's willing to hold it at his shop over the weekend until Monday for no charge, and deliver it to another shop if needed.  Just for a chance to see if it is a quick fix with a good battery, and possibly earning my business now or in the future.

Now I am not here to start a shop bashing thread.  I merely wanted to share my story, and let other's know-that there are some people out there that don't look at you like your a dollar bill, but rather a person who really needed a hand.... and not a hand when it was convenient but when it was really needed (at 6pm on a Saturday night 70-80 miles away!).

Thanks Steve, I really really needed the hand tonight and I will give you first shot at my business for anything coming up in the future that you may be able to help me with:)

Now if everyone would put in a good word to the Ducati god's for me, maybe I will stop getting black listed.....  Ok maybe I should rephrase that, as they are kind enough to let me break down at the end of rides rather than at the begginning!!!!  maybe I just need some Ducati god's blessings!!!!

Cheers, hope to be rubber side up soon enough!
