696!

« on: July 26, 2008, 06:13:14 AM »

Anyone else order accessories for their 696? I ordered most of the carbon fiber and so far I've only received the headlight cover and the exhaust heat shield. I also ordered the tail/license chop kit and still haven't received it. I figure Ducati is running a little behind on getting all their accessories manufactured for the 696.

Also, has any aftermarket companies come out with any neat goodies for the 696 yet?

just called my dealer in Oahu (im in maui) for prices...
he said my order would take 2-3 weeks. i dont think he knew much about availability..
i will be putting an order in, in the morning..

cf termi $1661
cf top tank 325
cf bottom tank 158
cf front mudguard 370
cf silencer sheilds 163
cf heat guard 98
tail chop 254 (waiting for an alternative)

those prices seem on par? granted everything out here is 15-20% more out here...

i was about to say those are high prices.

Have you checked other dealers online to get parts ordered and sent to you?

advanced motorsports in alvaredo, tx has good prices. not sure about the shipping costs though.

the termis are about $500 too much... from retail... that's more like 50% more...  the rest aren't as atrociously overpriced (from memory) there's a post on here somewhere (or maybe TOB) from a place that ships them, and they've listed their prices. (sorry, too lazy to do the search for you).

I just got my 14T sprocket and CF termis in (although Ducati does not offer a full system just yet.. and it took 2 full weeks).. Still waiting on the tail chop kit that i ordered at the same time. F'ing pain in the ass.

The termis ran me $1100 & $200 for the the tail chop. so adding 20% would put the termis at $1320 and the tail chop at about 240.

So even with the added 20% you still might be getting juiced a bit.

Here is a link to commonwealth cycles page. They ship. Dont know prices though.

I operate ducatiperformance.com and so far we have received all of the carbon parts besides the belt covers, top tank panel and front fender. We've sold out of most of the rest though - we still have sprocket covers, headlight covers, dash covers, rear fenders and Termi kits. As well we have more front sprockets, touring seats, bike covers and a few other things due in this week.

The tail kits haven't been released yet (we have 15 pre-ordered already and a notification list just as long once they are out!). LED lights are out of stock and currently not available as well as the rear tail bag.

The windscreens were supposed to be available soon, but I never saw a ship notification and now they aren't listed as due soon so I'm not sure what happened there.

If you guys need to know if anything is in stock or available let me know.

I ordered a pair of the CF silencer shields through my Ducati dealer and they arrived in less than 3 days.

This one is kind of cool:

Like to see it from different angles, with the whole bike in the picture
