No engine temperature reading on guage

Rode the bike for 45 minutes on street and highway and I don't get a temperature reading. It was working before I put it away for the winter. Only displays 3 dashes. I'm thinking some connector is loose but don't know where to look. The wiring is like spaghetti...it is Italian I guess  .

If you look below the oil level sight glass, to the rear of the oil filter you will see a 21 mm hex. That is the plug for your oil screen.   On that hex you will see a rubber boot.  Under the boot is the connector.

Same issue happens to me every now and then and I ride everyday. I would agree temp sensor issue(loose?).
