Showa and Marzocchi Fork Sliders Interchangeable?

Hi, I bought a 2000 M900S with the Showa adjustable forks and one of the sliders has a ding in it that is causing some friction fron the slider being out of round and I'm sure the seal won't last too long either.  I really want to keep these forks, soes anyone know if the Marzocchi sliders are interchangeable with the Showa's?  Also, is there anywhere that sells replacement parts for Showa forks besides Ducati?  Thanks.

I called them and asked about replacement or repair, or even making one and it seems that they only do harley parts.  The guy said they don't carry the metric steel that they would need to do it.  Thanks, though.  Any other alternatives besides buying a whole new pair of forks?

You might try someone on this site.  WERA is a roadrace organization that has a used parts section in their classifieds, maybe put a wanted ad in there for what you want.

He's a sponsor and may have a line on a used slider.

I think the M forks are 40mm and the S forks are 41mm, but even if they were the same diameter, I can't imagine they would interchange. If you can't get a definative answer elsewhere, I can probably dig up some old ones from the spare parts (junk) bin in the shop.
I don't think anyone makes replacement sliders for these forks and since they are the only part that bends in a crash, I doubt if you'll find any used ones. I'd try for a complete fork on Ebay.
