...just ain't the same anymore.  :-\ I grew up playing FPS games like DOOM and Duke Nuke 'em with my pops. We'd also play some arcade style games together like Golden Axe and whatnot. When I was in high school he liked playing the first couple of Resident Evil games so I thought he'd enjoy playing RE5. I played through it once myself on normal and then played through with him on amateur. It was so much harder than alone!  :( It doesn't help that he's red/green color blind so he could barely see the little targeting laser to shoot. But on top of that he couldn't do any of the rapid button mashing and his reflexes were very slow for the actions during cut scenes. Iono. I thought it would be fun and easier with a partner to distract the bosses but he continually got lost and couldn't read the map for the life of him and we ended up yelling so much I nearly went hoarse.  :-\ It's just disappointing when you can't do things you used to do together. Oh well. Times change and I just needed to vent a little.  :-[

Imagine his frustration.

Why don't you get an immulator and play some of those old games instead?  While I don't play that many video games I seem to enjoy the older, more simple games more than new PS3/360 games. [thumbsup]

Imagine his frustration.

Yeah,I could tell he was getting really frustrated too. He wanted to play but games nowadays requires skills he can't do.  :-\

I would stick with the older games, or try setting up a different way. Army of two might still work-it's a co-op and harder to die than RE5.
