How to remove oil level window.

I'de like to paint the clutch cover on my 2002 750 Dark, can anyone advise me of the best way to remove the oil level window?
Is it possible to reuse it? Thanks in advance for damage limitation tips.

The sight glass presses out easily (using your fingers), and I would NOT re-use it.  They're only a couple dollars.

I see, it's just a push fit! This one was too tight for me to push out with my fingers but it was easy to press out with a socket and a G clamp, job done. Cheers. (Now I'm interested to know what the inner panel is for - noise dampening, clutch protection? )
