Wife is making me go with her, it'd be great to hang out with someone I have something in common with.  Let me know.

We're still hiding in our basements/underground parking structure as the tornado sirens wail.

You have nothing in common with your wife?

You need to approach this the right way, or it could become a long term problem.

Act enthusiastic. Get your nice clothes on. Spend several hundred dollars on new clothes if you lack nice ones. Maybe do this anyway.

Do not eat all day. Save room for the wine. Do not spit the wine out, as you're supposed to. Instead, drink as much as they'll give you in as short a time possible on an empty stomach.

Hit on every woman there under sixty.

Vomit on the food being served.

Try to drive home.

She'll never make you go again.

Ha, Ha - guess the way I wrote it makes it seem like that.  We are going with some of her friends and their husbands, who I have nothing in common with.  Thanks for the suggestions......you'll have to forgive me if I don't take them....
