i have a Motowheels Clutch Hub that has a slightly bent clutch post.  Id buy another one, but motowheels only sells them in packs of 12 and only in titanium which is as much as the hub itself. I was wondering what anyones recommendation is on straightening it out?

i was going to heat it up then get two pieces of iron and roll it straight.  but never having worked with aluminum this way, does anyone else have any other recommendations?

this one?

how is the post attached? does the post thread into hub?  are the post steel?
if it were mine...
i would get a steel plate, drill and tap the plate to accept the post, and then using a snug fitting pipe as a lever, bend it back into shape.  no heat if the bend is just slight.
