Nothing too dramatic - but as some of you know - I did up my knee at the start of May.  When I hurt it I heard a *pop*.  That noise was my ACL.  So, reconstruction is happening shortly - followed by getting it working again.  So i put up the 900 for a while  :(

I'm going to work at getting back on the roads before the bulk of the good ride days are gone for the year.  And once I can drive myself (or I find a willing driver) I'll still come kick tires at Rhodes.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

don't need your knee to lounge on a trampoline net sailing at ten knots with a fishing rod over the side.
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

that sux....i have had my ACL replaced twice about ten years apart.  you will be back at it in no time.  After surgery i immediately started PT, ten years prior they had me in a cast for ten days....technology.
If you have the option to graft a ligament(one of your own) be aware that the recovery time is longer and you have much more pain since they are cutting one area just to repair another. I did that the first time, as i wasn't given a choice. The benefit to this procedure is that your chances of infection are very small.
The second surgery i opted for a cadaver ligament(i think they actually use tendons), there is an increased risk of infection but it is still a small. I asked my doc to give my knee a little bling....something from an Olympic Hopeful would have been nice. No such luck.
The recovery time was very fast. Ten days off work and driving to lots of PT, no crutches just a brace.

good luck

I'm in Tellico Plains.  Tennessee.  Just got back from riding the Cheraholas Skyway and the tail of the Dragon (U.S. 129 at Deal's Gap).

I'll be back Tuesday night, so I might be able to make it to Rhodeside on Wednesday....

Day 3 post... WSBK staving off the boredom for the moment.  Things seem to have gone pretty well - pain's manageable, though my therapy stuff kicks my ass.  Funny how having a machine bend your leg can wear you out.  Being in a straight leg brace suck though...

When/where should I deliver your, erm, um,  .... medication.  Yeah, that's the ticket, I want to deliver your MEDS to you.

Let me know....
