Oil temp problems

I have a 2003 620ie and am having oil temp indication problems. Once the temp is up to normal (+/-210) it then will show indications from low oil temp to 210.

It seem to drop down when I rev the engine and them climbs back to 210 in a couple of seconds.

Any ideas??

Check the connection on the sensor.  The sensor under the rubber boot on your oil screen cap which is on the right side of the engine.

I had the same problem in the same bike. You have a poor electric connection in the sensor in the engine block. Remove the connector, carefully tight the connector and reinstall. The problem will go away. It will be super clear once you take it off.
