The Italians are pissed at a German company for making dehydrated [wine].
If it comes in a straw wrapped bottle it's Chanti Classico , if you dump a packet into your canteen it's  ???.

The article also said they're working on dehydrated  [drink], I'm withholding judgement on that.

if you dont add water and just eat the powder does the alchohol contenet go up :P
Favorite convo i read on this board
"PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN"
"F**K U IT HAPPENED"

Suzuki Blvd M109R " Sliver " = assassinated by cager
PW 696 " Pearl " = traded in
M1100 " Loki " = Viking God of mischief ( Goddess in this case )
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty pristine body, but rather to come in sliding sideways all used up screaming F*CK YEAH WHAT A RDIE!!

I think this is really a cool idea for backpacking if it's any good.
I always miss a cold beer or whatever when I've been back in the backcountry for a few days.

if you also used dehydrated water, you could pack even lighter!

Sweet I have to get some of that there deeeehydrated water!!!
Wonder if I still need my filter.

Back to the wine I looked at some reviews and something was mentioned about
alcoholic beet juice rotting for 300 years on the bottom of the ocean.
I take it that it doesn't taste very well?

umm, if it's dehydrated that would get rid of the alcohol.

what's the point?
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

The article said the finished "product" is about 8%, so apparently they remove the water and leave the good stuff.
