A gixxer ran from cops not chasing him. He had a helmet (on the helmet hook, but not on his head).

Dammit!  I missed the end!!  I was working with my patients in the TV room and saw most of it on the local channel.  Glad to hear the innocent driver who hit him appears OK.  D*mn..traveled a 1/2 block after the impact and he still survived!!  That car was hit hard!

Saw this happen live today on the TV and although I am a supporter of the cops I thought they blew several chances to end this chase. Pity the scumbag didnt die and save us some tax payer money saving his life only to send him to jail.
