I'm drawing a total brain fart but what size is the rear wheel nut (right hand side) for a 2007 S4rs? 46mm?

Is this the same size as those on the 1098?

I'm borrowing a friends impact wrench and he has the 1098 socket, not sure if I can use that on my bike.

Thanks.

46 it is....

and I do believe the 1098 is the same.

The wheel nut should be the same size as the 1098 at 46mm. I believe the sprocket nut on the other side is different. 1098 is 43mm i believe, while the S*R bikes have a 41mm on the sprocket side.
Impact = good for loosey, not for tightey.

i had to use a 20" breaker bar, and a 6foot 2x4 to get that nut to break... Be sure you properly torque it back down, and put the snap-ring back in place properly.
