Tommaselli adjustable clubmans came in the mail today... now taking suggestions on how to get these bar-ends off! (without damaging the bars, of course)

Dremel? Vise grips? ???

Hoping to end up with some Oberon Street Fighters in their stead. Thanks!

Blade between the bar and the end and wiggle while going around the circumference?

What's that metal bit - a rivet?
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I'll try that.

Was kinda wondering the same thing. The bit in the very center is sharp.

Just thought I'd ask here before I did anything knee-jerkish. [wine]

If it's a real rivet the knife trick probably won't work.  It works fine for pressed in ends - but if there's some sort of expansion device - I wouldn't count on it.

YOu might need to bust out a drill and do that rivet...

ignore the rivet.  Just pull it out like any other cheapo plastic bar end.

I've decided to send these bars back (glad I hadn't started hacking away yet). The chrome is flaking off everywhere. Real beat up and cheap... probably getting some Suburban Machinery bars instead.

No more experimental mods for me! :P
