jack up bikise by crankcases??

Is it safe to jack up the front of the bike by a floor jack and block of woor under the crankcases?

if you are going to jack it up try jacking up more towards the front... because to ceneterd will just lift the whole bike up, not the front. i jack it up at the header nut usally. or on the header right after it bends.
