Has anyone tried the Mad Doctor fender eliminator for the 00-07 Monsters?  Supposedly it doesn't require cutting the sub frame (which I'm opposed to doing).  Would love to know if it's worth getting or if I should stick with my beer tray.

Here's two links to sites I found that have that kit:
http://www.xdcycle.com/store/catalog/2001-07-Ducati-Monster-Mad-Doctor-LED-Fender-Eliminator-Kit-p-1217.html
http://www.oppracing.com/products/2363-ducati-monster-2000-2007-excluding-s4rs/

Thanks in advance for any info.

Type mad doctor into the search box. There are some previous threads.

Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific.  I did do a search but only came up with bikes that have had the chop done or that only have the LED tail light/turn signals.  I was hoping someone might have used the kit without chopping the frame that could give some feedback.

From the looks of the pictures on the sites you provided, it seems that the unit is not a fender eliminator as much as it's a taillight replacement.  If you installed this and left the frame uncut, it looks like you'd have the two frame "sticks" poking out from the backside of your bike.   Huh?Huh???

Yeah the picture and information on the kit are really confusing.  I think I'm just gonna bail on the whole idea and stick with my stock stuff for now until I can find a viz-tec integrated tail light and get the rear guard from monster parts.

Good luck. He stopped making them for now.  Angry

Yeah, I sent him an email and I guess a new model is in the works.
