I standing behind my bike (1100 S) recently (dont ask) and notice that the emission from the exhaust was hot exiting the left tailpipe but much cooler from the right.  Is this something that I should be concerned about?

Thanks

It's the same for me. In fact, I have the full termis and you can see the discoloration on the left tip. My friend's M696 is the same. I think it has to do with the way the pipes are configured, but don't quote me. I just ride and know nothing.

my 2 cents are the bends in the pipes
Favorite convo i read on this board
"PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN"
"F**K U IT HAPPENED"

Suzuki Blvd M109R " Sliver " = assassinated by cager
PW 696 " Pearl " = traded in
M1100 " Loki " = Viking God of mischief ( Goddess in this case )
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty pristine body, but rather to come in sliding sideways all used up screaming F*CK YEAH WHAT A RDIE!!

yea, that's true with my 696 w/Termi's as well.  This also came up a while back, I had to check mine cause I hadn't noticed.

so i did a thorough exam of the exhaust system of the 696 and if you follow the pipes the left side (from the rear) has a straighter shot for the exhaust path.
