changed my oil this weekend

I found a bit of what looks like bearing material floating in the oil
I don't remember seeing that on the last oil change
the bike has 18k
is this normal or should I be worried
it looked like stars twinkling in the sky 
also several small (less than 1/8" ) slivers of aluminum
cleaned out the screen as well not much there but a couple of darker bits

any advice

Little specs will show up they are usually not a worry. Pics of the material would help.
