She did it again! That dog just will not learn. The usual morning walk down to the beach, about 1000 feet to the south of the last skunk kill. I notice out of the corner of my eye, something black, moving through the grass 50 feet in front of me, and about a half second later the "Yellow dog" appears in my field of vision. The instant my slow morning mind figures out whats going on, Tuscany is grabbing the skunk and shaking it to pieces. Two pieces actually, and then it starts to stink. At least this time the creek was nearby for her to swim in. She doesn't stink nearly as bad this time. I guess she got off easy, and by extension so did I, but man, I wish she would leave those things alone...

On the upside, she caught a mouse in the trunk of the Chrysler! (They get in the cars once in a while)

Do you know about the homebrewed de-skunking recipe?
This really works well. [thumbsup]

Last time I let my dogs run around at the beach, they both were rolling in some dead rotten fish within the first couple of minutes. :P

I will give that a try. Thanks. The picture caption reminds me of "Tuscany the skunk/bacon dog"

Tuscany is the big one on the right.

"Yoda" the little one in the middle, tried to get in on the action too, but that wasn't happening.
They both went to the river yesterday though, and did some swimming.  :)
