Bike came to me with Pilot Roads front & rear - now needs new front. I'm thinking Road 2 for the front now, then switch to Road 2 rear when the time comes. Any thoughts? I used to run Bridgestone BT-010, 020 combo (I think I've got the numbers right) - the point was softer front for grip, longer wear on rear. Worked well - seems the softer side compound of the front Road 2 might offer the same characteristics? Whatcha think? Any downsides? TT

I've been running the opposite of that setup PR2 back, PR front and they've been amazing. I would've gone with PR2 all the way if the fronts weren't unobtanium right now. They handle great, they go amazing in the rain and have so much traction in the twisties that you feel like Rossi.
