696/1100 fuel tank bolts

I remember some of you saying that the dealers were putting the third bolt on your plastic tanks. After really looking at the parts catalog and seeing how even the rubber mounts are different left to right, i would say this is wrong.

The plastic tanks (fuel cells) come from the factory with two hard mounts, right and back, and the one soft mount, left. that seems to be for possible tank expansion and/or chassis flex (the tank is hard mounted between the main and subframes). putting a third hard mount takes away away chance of twisting and therefore may lead to cracking.

It's just my opinion, but if you look closely at the two side rubber mounts, the right side is actually 2 rubber pieces that HAVE to be bolted to stay on, but the left side is a single rubber piece slide in from the top with the tank mount holding it in.
