Upcoming Clutch Work - Any Tips?

I'm going to pick up my new Speedymoto Pressure Plate, open cover, springs and caps later today.  I've read a lot about this mod and have made note of the following:  1) make sure the "registration mark" on the new plate lines up correctly; 2) be gentle removing the old throw out bearing (I believe the new pressure plate has a new bearing already installed); and, 3) don't over tighten those spring screws.  Any other tips I should be made aware of?  Anything unusual as far as slipping the shaft back into the clutch assembly?

Am hoping to work on this Friday so that I can enjoy my new rattle all weekend long!  [moto]

I think you are set to go. Just make sure to put back all the bolts of the cover, that is if the open clutch cover is not a full circle. Some people don't do it, and those bolts actually hold the case cover.

Good heads up, although the new cover is a full circle.  Do I use the stock gasket on the new cover?

I'd say yes....When I installed my Motowheels 1/2 cover + plate, I removed the gasket (obviously)....

-The one thing I was scared of screwing up was getting the push-rod seated in the new bearing..... What worked for me was to hammer it in with a rubber mallet (it's a tight fit...) which worked great...

-besides that you should be good....Push rod slides right in....Just tighten the bolts so they bottom out, then give them a little extra "ooomph" at the end to keep them in place....Don't torque them down though, as the posts are brittle....I used medium Loctite as well...

Wow, that was easy! didnt even have to work hard to get the old throw out bearing removed.  Everything went together nicely, probably took 20 minutes.  Its dark now but I'll post some pictures up in the next day or so.
