I put Pazzo Shorty's on my 696 and was so happy once it was done.

Then I saw how short the AGV Shorty's were and I got lever envy.

Next time through, I'm going with those AGV's.

AGV or ASV?

Some pics of ASV shorties on a 696. Please forgive my mom's IZ_ camera. Mine has gone kerfloop and I haven't had time to buy a new one yet.

Although it appears quite prominent in these pictures, the big white "ASV" logo is actually barely noticeable at all on the bike because of the angle of the levers with respect to both riding position and typical view angles from the ground. The first and last photos are fairly representative of this.

Pazzo Shorties  waytogo

Altho, originally ordered levers in BLACK, and hubby stole/swapped for his gold he did not like.  Soooo, FYI, the levers themselves are swappable btw.  He has a Speed Triple.

Now, to find someone to swap me black levers for my gold and I'll be happier.   Wink

mrplease - you should just start your own forum...amazing all the stuff you have done with your monster. I just started riding, just got a 696 red and after just a few months of riding im already thinking of moving to a bigger bike, but i have the problem of height - 5'2"- so its hard for me to handle bigger bikes (for now).  but seeing all your mods got me excited about the 696...thanks for sharing...

when you start scraping hardparts and have that Monster so flickable, throttle wound out, and you STILL wanna move up to a "bigger bike", lmk cuz I'm there now and there is no way in hell I have any desire for anything liter-size or "bigger" because I would likely end up hurt or license revoked. And lemme also add I am a responsible, 40-something-year-old mother of 2 who values life and maintains a safe driver's license still also.  OH and same "height issues"  laughingdp

Enjoy the Monster!  It's a GREAT bike!  waytogo  Oh yeah, and MrPlease has done some NICE mods, I agree!  It's another added joy of this bike, UNIQUE-ability and beyond!
