Hey guys, my 02' Monster 750Sie came without the air box lid on it and I recently purchased one to put on there, but I do have dual Ferracci exhaust and have heard that the stock air box lid does not give the filter enough air.

So I was wondering how I should modify my box lid to give my filter more air flow.

You can cut holes or if you'd rather save the top just in case, you can get the Ferracci airbox ring.

I've got the ring, and haven't had a problem riding in the wet weather. Just use a non-paper filter.

Beware that doing this means
a) It's louder  waytogo
b) Power commander / ECU mods are needed or your bike will run lean.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
