Actually they worked for the Cagiva Holding company itself -- which was the owner of Ducati at the time. Thus when Ducati split off and was sold to TPG (Texas Pacific Group), they stayed with Cagiva. (which had the MV Agusta nameplate but at the time no bikes) Thus why the F4 750 is essentially the offspring of the 916 via Tamburini.
Tamburini is now retired.

Although I wish he still had one more masterpiece within his soul (and fingertips) to still produce.
Galluzzi designed the Cagiva Raptor series. He is now with Aprilia. Last fall he produced a beautiful (very architectural) Monster-esque motorcycle for them that debuted at the Italian motorcycle show in November.
