chop the cans or not???

I would go with chop as well.....I had that look for some time after my tail chop and finally, after staring at it for 9 mos, I took 3" off.  Now that I've done it (really easy and enjoyable) I might go even shorter on a rainy wkd.

Better yet ditch those cans altogether and get some carbon Mivv GP low mounts. Best looking exhaust made for the dual-sided swingarm Monster. Those GPR cans are fugly. Almost look like two-stroke mufflers.

Forgive my ignorance - what is the process for chopping carbon cans?

GPR are just riveted, the end cap comes right off,you can chop them and put them back together, mine were TI hard to cut but possible
this was my chop on them

i say you just take those cans off completely. looks like they mount pretty close to the end... then just put a nice slash cut on the metal pipes and go without the cans at all ;D

looks like you could drill them where they attach to the head and chop them from that end then you keep your badges with no extra work if that is a concern. i chopped my stockers and the real money maker is to get access to a pivot type band saw my friend ha one in his shop and it took about 2 hours to cut the pipes but the cuts were perfectly straight and didn't need any filing

I happen to have one of those bandsaws... ;-)
