You are the bigger person by all means by not letting this bother you more than past that day. He is not worth it..  [moto] [thumbsup]

Oh it didn't, believe me...

-I guess more than anything, I found it interesting....I am just so flat-out, "kid-in-a-candystore" happy every day I throw a leg over my bike....  I was always into motorcycling, but owning and riding a Duc really is something special to me.... So much so that I guess I just assumed it's like that for everyone, half-expecting a 15-minute rundown on what he loves about the 1098, what mods were done, and all the things I do when asked about my bike....Guess not....   :-\

- Looking back, I probably talk people's ears off in these situations.... :P

Some "dudes" take the air freshener out of their crappers when they buy something really nice.  I guess spending money makes some people more elite than others.  I enjoy motorcycles of all types, and I like to talk to other motorcyclists about why they chose what they did, what they like about it, what they wish was better, etc.   Bikes are cool, real mechanical pieces of engineering.  Lots to talk about.

Anyway, only a poseur would take the compliment the way this guy did.  Talking to him would have been a watse of your time; look at it like he did you a favor.
