Sorry to hi-jack your tread.

Just 1 question, I am having a 620 with 5 speed, is there any way to swap with other model to get the 6th speed?

Any inputs are appreciated.

Thanks

Raux

assuming the engine cases are they same there is a 696 6-speed gear set for sale on ebay.

695's, 800's (w/6-speed) and the newer 620's have 6-speed transmissions.

Here's the deal.  The final drive ratio is almost the same so you won't gain much in top speed and the 6-speeds are closer together than your 5-speed is but other than that...  I'd leave it alone.

Would be likely easier and cheaper to find a 6-speed small-case motor (620, 695 or 800) and just do an engine swap.

thanks for the tip guys, I'll stick with my 5 speed till save enough $$$ for a S4R.

Reading the title of this thread made me think it was a tutorial to upgrade to a six-speed.

Maybe put a question mark in the thread title?
