What size socket to remove front sprocket nut? Need to know so I can purchase the right size impact socket.

the front sprocket is actually held on by two small screws, no impact gun or socket necessary.
it should be just a standard 8 or 10mm socket.
there is a small plate there that holds the sprocket on, it's pretty self-explanatory once you open it all up.

Not so. Newer monsters use a single larger nut to retain the counter shaft sprocket as opposed to the two bolt set up seen on most monsters. Unfortunetly both my bikes use the older set up - so I don't know the socket size needed. My advice, drop the small amount it costs to get digital calipers from harbour freight and measure for yourself. Not instant gratification - but those calipers are a great value. If you plan on doing a lot of your own work, like valve checks, you will need them.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

32mm and good luck. try spraying some penetrating oil into it first to help the gun unless you have one thats retarded powerful. it is also standard right hand thread too.

this is for newer bikes, but i dont know if its the same on the newEST 1100 696 and street fighters though.
