I have ants...homemade solution

We had a real bad drought this year. The fire ants found any way they could to make it into the house.  They were after the water in the shower and also would visit the wife and I while we slept.  I went around the whole inside of the house and sealed. Every crack I could find. The ant mound was under the houses concrete foundation so we couldn't find it.  Spread amdro all over the yard and they were done.
