I'm looking to change the stock fork springs on my 06 S2R 800.  This is one model RaceTech does not list in their data base.  Was wondering if anyone knew the diameter and free length of the stock springs, or what other Monster models used the same fork.

Rear spring changing too, but have that covered.

Thanks!

Call these people.  They should be able to set you up with the correct springs.  Also confirm your selection of the rear spring with them.

Though not listed I got springs for my '03 800 Dark by dimension.  This is the non-adjustable Marzocchi fork.  I can look up the info if you need it.  I also did a post so it should be on here if you search.

In case I didn't mention it in the post, I went with .95 spring which is what the calculator recommended for the Monster 900 and my weight.  The calculator recommended .90 for my weight and the 750.  The 750 was closer in weight to the 800 and truth be told the springs are just a tad stiff.  I may swap out for the .90 springs later but it's not my top priority.

Also, ditching the stock 7.5w oil for 5w made for a fork that is less harsh.  Hard to do if you don't take the fork legs off, easy if you do.

I'm with lots of others in the opinion that Monsters tend to be undersprung and overdamped.
