D.I.D. or Bikemaster or???

Looking for a new chain for my 86 Yammy Radian. I am most likely going to upgrade to at least an O-ring chain. I was wondering if it was even worth it to go to an X-ring chain for a strictly street bike. Also, what brand do you like. This will be my first chain change on my first bike. Ant advice would be appreciated.

Chains seem to be pretty closely related in terms of cost to performance,  I'd at minimum do a nice o-ring chain.  D.I.D. and EK seem to be the most popular brands.
