Has anyone seen this version of the evo slave? I thought they were a 1 piece design.

I thought all the Evo slaves were multi piece designs. :-\

That was the reason Jay told me he went to the STM or Yoyodyne (I forget which) years ago.

It was suggested to me, by someone who knows what he's talking about, to replace my leaking stock slave with the Yoyodyne.

This is funny stuff. "by someone who knows what he's talking about" - a completely unqualified statement. Was this a Yoyodyne salesman? A random Ducati mechanic, or an independent mechanic? Perhaps it was drunk idiot who designed the original setup that leaks? "By somebody who knows" is so vague, so ambiguous that it doesn't have any credibility. That's no better than a rumor, and doesn't help anybody make an educated decision.

I've had two (along with the stock) - The Evoluzione (mine was a big single piece) and a DP. I didn't like that the Evoluzion piece would hold dirt in the dip at the top, and it was time for some red bling. There's a cajillion of these out there. You want one with more than one seal at the piston. The list of options is nearly endless

Motowheels
STM
DP
Yoyodyne
Evoluzione
Evoluzione stock slave upgrade
AG Hammer
Nirvana
VeeTwo

and many others not listed. Most are the same thing with different external machinings for aethestics.

the multi piece evo diesng is apparently 7 years old and no longer in production.

why i dont like a multi piece design.... because its more suspectable to dirt grime etc.....especially since my bike is the whore of dirt and grime.

trying to return it to the seller (someone on the forum who works for a dealership)... i want a single piece design.

I've got a single piece evo unit in gold (a bit faded) got some miles on it, i'll sell you for cheap. I wanted red, since all the other billet i have is gold.
