I know by posting this now, the rider hit will not have had time to get to work or home yet - but they were walking and talking.  I rolled past about 8:50.

I didn't see the accident, I saw the bike (Dark Blue or Black with white stripes older monster, 900 maybe) parked on the curb at Central and Scott in Santa Clara.  CHP was there and that tells me the accident occurred on Central since that is their jurisdiction and not on Scott.

There was a woman (I think she was the driver) on her cell phone there walking around and looking at the left side of the bike.  I think the car was parked just out of view behind some shrubs and I couldn't see it.  The rider looked like he was limping a bit.  He was up and talking on his cell phone also.  There was another male there but I don't think he was the driver - he was just standing around.

I hope the rider is ok.  This was another reminder for me to watch out for all those crazy drivers when we commute.

That's on the corner of my work, not familiar with any bike matching the description.

I usually take San Thomas down to 101.  It just so happened I went this way today.

Bummer.  Hope no stupidity on the rider's side was involved and that everyone is OK.
