There out there. If you search long enough. Took me a 8 months to find that particular gp shifter.

They are but what if you go down, or the bike gets knocked over and you loose one of the pegs? IMHO its not worth buying them since there are no spare parts,

I keep buying parts I find for cheap (spares). The pegs are easy to machine.

With the longer foot peg carrier and a little less expensive - I wish I needed those :D

I know, just ending the rebuild of my bike after low side in January; got sick leave and then got axed. Went from $5.46/hr to $1.91/hr, plus any odd jobs and at times, no time for wife...But, still able to pay mortage, have a BBQ from time to time, beer on weekends and tool around my M620D...Almonst 12 months to rebuild and the day I decided to test ride, found out one of the forks was bent[about 3mm] so I searched, found and made deal. Now saving to pay for forks, shipping and taxes.

Promise will post pics of bike with new look. You can check https://www.flickr.com/photos/darkmonster620/ to see my bike, house, dog, cat and whatever I feel like taking a pic of with my cell phone cam[1.8mp]... [beer]

Do you have spare pegs? Wanna help out a broke racer?  ;D

I've crashed and ground down all of my spares. I raced the last weekend of the year on half a peg on the right side because I lowsided in morning practice.  [bang] So, I'm all out of spares and I was going to figure something out over the winter.

you could always use a bolt with two nuts sandwiching the bracket in a pinch.

Yeah, thanks for the tip, but I've already bought the other set... Great deal though!

Another question: you were talking about relocating the sidestand spring by using another bracket. I'm also going to use a reverse shifter (Slingshot Racing). Where can I find one of these brackets?

Any crashed bike, ebay, your dealer. Its the new (2000) style mount. You are looking for the sidestand, bracket, and spring. Whether or not it comes with a wire, you may lose your sidestand idiot light on the dash (who cares, its not hard to remember, when you sit down, kickstand goes up).

You'd be surprised how often people without those lights sit down warm the bike up, put on helmet, ride off...make first left hander and hear a stomach-churning  "grinding-chunk" sound (even with the idiot light).
