Just a quick question.

I'm thinking of upgrading my 2006 620 Monster Dark to Ohlins suspension.

I know that most Monster forks are direct swaps to other Monsters so I was wondering if there are any Monsters that came stock with Ohlins front forks.
I think the S4rs came with them, are there any others and if so are these forks a direct swap to my 620?

Ohlins makes an application for the 620 but I was wondering if I might be able to do a factory parts swap instead of buying direct from them.

And yes I know they are stupid expensive, and more suspension then most people need and they are over kill in a simple 620 but…

there are cheaper routes to go than ohlins that will get you a SUPERB suspension... IMO.
I have the same forks as you i think... I just paid $150 for a set of 748 forks that are in fanstastic shape.. another $125-$150 to respring and put new oil in, and I've got fully adjustable, great forks... Just need to get new triple clamps to install them.

Or check to see if your set can be professionally rebuilt with proper spring weights, valving, oil, etc. Will be waaaay cheaper than Ohlins no matter how you slice it.

There is possibility that yours cannot be rebuilt to the level you are looking for and you may need to find a set from another bike (read: made by a diff mfg. showa vs ??)

You would def open a can of worms trying to use a set from an RS as there would be brake upgrades needed etc....

I'm not totally useless, I can be used as a bad example!

Call Ohlins and talk to their service dept.  I upgraded to SBK forks (for very different reasons) I'm having Ohlins install a pair of UES valves and re-spring for $700. A whole lot cheaper than $2500 forks.

I added Ohlins forks to my M800, and they are nice, but if I did it over, I'd try a cartridge kit like Traxxion Dynamics AK20.  It's still expensive, but it's cheaper than a new pair of Ohlins.

BTW, I also put radial Brembo calipers and 999 master cylinders on my bike, and to be honest I think it's a little too much.  Something to keep in mind if you're looking at RS forks.

Check out Hardracing web site they are having a Killer sale on Ohlins forks I think you can get the R&T fork forks for as much as they were selling there 25mm kit for last 2 years ago ! Not sure if they have something to fit a 620 but it may be worth looking into you'll prob end up with new brakes, rotor & wheel (ebay) You know the Ohlins are over kill so it sounds like you gotta get em for the hell of it (good as reason as any IMO) have fun & post up a pic if you get it done.
