Is the following filter:

444.4.003.5A

the correct filter superseding the following ('05 S2R 800) filter?:

444.4.003.4A

I haven't taken off my old filter yet, as the oils just not due, but it seem to be a bit shorter and would require an 8 sided cap tool rather than a 14? sided cap tool.  Luckily I haven't bought a cap tool for the duc yet.

TIA

I think it's a conspiracy to keep selling people new oil filter removal tools.  ;D

Honestly, not a clue why it changed.
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
