Really?  Over the years I've gone down hard many times, but I've only once been tagged by my bike, and that was the rear tire after the bike bounced off the mountain wall at the side of the road and came back into the lane.

Do people really get nailed by the bars in a get off that often?

Often I don't know but when the Boss had her little 'incident' last year we are pretty sure it was the bar end that did the damage.

Although a spiked bar end may have helped with the diagnosis (it took about 7 hours in hospital before she was diagnosed with a ruptured spleen).

There's not a lot of bikes that I would ever consider pushing over if I saw them in a parking lot. I mean, a really really small number. Not even stretched swingarm busas with ghost flame paint jobs typically. But this one might make the list.
