My father and brothers in law are coming to town for the week and want to do some fishing while there here.  Can anyone gove me some recommendations on a nice fishing spot near Portland?

Thanks guys,
Scott

I've heard that the Willamette River has fish in it, but that may just be a rumor.  Grin

I've heard Timothy Lake is a good spot.

My Mexican fishing guide took me out to the Wilson River a lot the Nehalem, and to  . . . shit . . . what are those rock barriers built to protect the shore/town from high waves?  Any one of those on the coast will get you a good haul.  We always left w/~6 fish each.

The Tualatin river has fish.  But I'm not sure I'd be any more likely to eat those as I would the ones in the Willamette.  Oh, oh . . . Bonneville damn is another place I've heard is good.

I've also been told you can ask at GI . . . errrr   . . . Joe's and they'll tell you good spots.
