Stock Exhaust Can Identification

Is there any difference between the stock low mount cans that have part #'s 573.1.050.4D and 574.1.050.4D versus the ones with part #'s 573.1.050.2E and 574.1.050.2E?  I am looking at buying a pair, but need to know if there is anything different about them due to the letter difference.

Nah.. should be fine. One might designate a newer flavor that has a cat converter in it vs and older one sans cat (Just speculating) - but as far as fit, any DSS  exhausts will bolt right up

That is mainly my concern, I would like to know if the "E" cans have cats in them or not for sure.  I know the "D" cans do.

Some cans are an inch or two longer than others.  They still fit the bike the same, though.
