Well I am still looking for a monster and after dealing with motorcycle shops I seam to get nowhere, they dont know their stock and aren't willing to move on price, its like they love their monster's to much to part with them!

I came across this today,

http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Motorbikes-ATVs/Road-Bikes/AdNumber=TP003228333?BackToResult=true&AdOnTop=

The price seams ok, k's seam low and as I started out looking for, its a 900.

Can any one recommend shop/ dealership close by that I could pay to check over the bike, or is there a Brisbane member willing to look for beer? (there is a catch it would be Tasmanian beer)

Plenty of photos on that site, so he is not trying to hide anything, just need someone to have a look on your behalf.

C'MON you Queenslanders, pony-up (?)

Thanks for that Mmick, spoke to the owner, which the first owner and it has original k's.

Started life as a dark and everything except the exhaust is original.

That also means 10 year old tyres, brakes, suspension etc and has been serviced at scheduled k's not k's and time, so 5000k's service done 18 months ago........

so time to leave this one alone.

so my two options are;

I'm going to be in Portland end of next week if you want me to check this one out. It's about an hour away for Heatherp, not sure when she gets back though, plus I shouldn't "dob her in".

edit: Actually, the one at Clipstone Yamaha looks a bit better specced for the price. Could have a look at that for you next week too. (or is it? Where's Spiders list?)

That looks like a sweet ride, especially if its running 'V' and not 'W' heads, since its not sold maybe a call to the seller could reap rewards.

Did see a couple of Monsters for sale in one of the Trader mags, happy hunting.
