I recently modified the rear fender so my rear tail light tucks in right underneath the seat. Bought a kit on-line and installed it rather easily. Having a problem with the rear tail light/brake light. Don't think I'm using the correct bulb. My manual just mentions to use a 12V - 5/21W. Went to my local automotive parts store and there's a lot of different size and shaped bulbs that fit that bill. Possible to advise on which GE bulb number I should use.

Also have a problem with the plastic choke and signal light assembly attached around the handlebars. I can't seem to get it tight enough. I tightened the screws as much as I could but it still slides around on the handlebars on me. Any ideas on what I can do to make it solid and not slide around. Thank you in advance.

Get an 1157 heavy duty bulb

A wrap of tape on the bars under the switch housing should fix it.
