Vinyl wrapping

This may seem like a dumb question.. but has anybody tried vinyl wrapping their tank and other fenders. It is done to cars. this seems like an inexpensive way of changing the color on a bike

Did you watch their installation videos?  What a pain in the ass!  Looks pretty decent when it's done though.
