<threadjack> we were in the process of getting one started on TOB, but then everyone bailed. (myself included) and most of us lost contact. I know a few of the guys have since sold their bikes. But hey, im all about our own club! The last one we had just decided that it would be called Monster Slut. (monsters of Salt Lake UT)  laughingdp </threadjack>

Hooray for loud bikes!

I also would prefer the EU system if anything....limit to a db level.
and arent technically no exhaust changes legal because they dont have DOT approval??

(and apologies in advance to our Utah friends....)
but I hate Salt Lake.
Was there weekend before last watching Treasure Valley Roller Derby whooping Wasatch  Evil

graffiti, trash, homeless, tons of strip clubs.....
but try to get your drink on in that town  Tongue
As I was trying to pry a beer out of the World's Worst Bartender (tm)
someone overheard him say he was concerned about the amount of alcohol he was serving
bartender that doesnt want to serve alcohol has made some poor career choices.

Thanks for the update, Privateer!

got it in my email inbox from the AMA.  I recently joined and feel like I'm more informed about moto-specific legislation, especially in my own state which is equally back-asswards when it comes to these types of things.

I'm actually in Utah too, just sold my 848 and bought a hypermotard.  I'm younger (22) but like Utah to be honest.  I'm about an hour and a half away from the sand dunes, 45 minutes from Miller Motorsports Park and about 10 minutes from 3 different canyons to ride.  Riding season is coming up and Utah has a lot to offer, just not in the sense of beer.

This is simply the fault of fags. Fags running straight pipes, and by fags I mean Harley douchebags, plain and simple. I have never personally witnessed any bike that is overly loud that didn't have a Hardly Ableson label on it. Straight pipes are going to ruin for everyone.

LOL...e-thug.  Always a tough guy behind the PC.  I bet you have never revved your engine?  Made loud noise?  Loud noise coming home late?  Sure you have not.

I also ride a Harley and do get irritated by the ones that rev their engine and have very loud exhausts.  Thing is, I do not hide behind a PC and call them "fags"...but ask if they can stop the revving of their engines.

Also, where I live...2x now in the last 20 minutes I've heard a group of "crotch rockets" running down the freeway.  Shite happens.  I hear loud cars, trucks - especially the diesels.   waytogo

What do you want, total silence?

Yeah. Although speaking with the SL Motorsports they claim there is nothing in the udder. In other countries it is used as a cat, but here in the states it is empty.

Nope, udder definately has material in it.  No cat means not CA legal... and I don't think Ducati would either 1) deny that market or 2) make a special model for that market.

I believe only the recent models have a CAT. The others just have baffles. For instance, my 2004 MTS had the "udder", but it definitely was not a CAT...although it wasn't empty either.
