they did a write up/test of the bike in last months CycleWorld (March). based on the pics and rearset location... in its stock form, the bike looks like it was grinding the toes off the test riders boots

I sat on one today in Daytona, sick sick sickkkkkkkkkk!  

I didn't care for the S1000RR when it came out but the white/blue/red motorsports edition looks pretty good.

i just got mine into the garage last friday ... red / white / blue (yes, we know that's called
'motorsports colors').  anyone who thinks this thing is unattractive needs to take a closer
look in person.  BWM is enforcing the break-n period with a SW patch to keep revs below
900 for the first 600 miles.  this thing really wants to spin.  i'm not an aggressive rider, and
that rev limit is going to be a little intrusive even for me.
