Tank vent and overflow cleaning

Anyone got tips for clearing these lines in a steel tank?

Are they both clogged? Usually it's just the drain.

You can try putting some phosphoric acid into the tubes and using some piano wire/mig wire, anything that's small enough diameter to fit in the tube, to work the acid into the clog to speed the process. They normally clog closer to the bottom of the tank.

The tendency for most of us is to try to rush things. You don't want to break anything off or get it stuck in the tube so go slowly and let the acid work.
