Looking for some free blog s/w

So, I'm wanting to start a blog but I'd like one that has tabs on the top that seperate blog subjects, i.e. recipes, activities, photos, etc. Something like this: www.thepioneerwoman.com

I like how she has the main sections on the top and then sub sections on the left side. Does anyone know of any sites or s/w that offer something similar? I've looked at several already and they all seem to be in the same format, which is all blog posts are on the side separated by date. I've tried it and that format doesn't really work for me.

it's looks like the site designer (http://www.ohmystinkinheck.com/) is using wordpress (http://wordpress.org/).
