So....I am hoping...that many of you may be like me, I am slightly anal about any blemishes on my bike.  Having said this, I have a piece of the stripe sticker on the gas tank missing and have no idea how to fix it.  I tried a dark marker, but quite frankly it looks like doo doo.
Any ideas?

Your stripes is clear coated over correct?

Tapeworks.com makes all sorts of stripes, decals, wheel tapes etc in just about every color.  They have ducati specific kits, but if you don't find what you need in a kit you can give them a call and they will see if they have something that will work.  Also, since a lot of their colors don't show well on the computer, like metallics, they will send you sample chips if.

Might be a good excuse for a little custom look...

Oh, they have a bunch of reflective colors  - you can get them as wheel tapes.  Prefect if you want to ditch the nasty plastic reflectors, but still have some night time lateral visibility
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I am not sure if the stripes are clear coated or not...(factory stickers)
I will certainly check out the website and see what they have to offer...It is good that they will send chips out, and you are right...might be a good excuse to look at other options!
Thanks!
