Is there any specific brand that you could recommend thats easily available?
Many auto paint stores will put top quality activated clear in a rattle can for you. You use it within a certain amount of time or it gets hard in the can.

If you can find any PPG or DuPont store that will do it, go for it. Be prepared for the cost. It's not cheap.

Wear a respirator!

I have little experience with most pre packaged rattle can stuff.

I'm limited to only a handfull of stores here with rattle can stuff only.  I'll experiment with some off the shelf Matte rattle can clears.  Hope this works.

Certainly there are stores that cater to the PBE (autobody) market.

I admit I'm not there, but I'll bet the population is greater in your city than where I live and we have that stuff albeit in the big city of Laconia.
