I own a 99' Ducati Monster 750 Dark. I purchased the bike used in September. I rode the bike a handful of times last fall and have recently started riding it again this spring. I was on the bike 2 weeks ago when I completely lost any tension on my clutch handle.

I brought it home and checked the fluid level which was bone dry. I filled up the reseviour and tried to bleed the system no avail (I could be bleeding it wrong). I then realized my clutch master cyinder had leak in it near the handle so I decided to purchase a new unit from Erico Motorsports.

I installed the new clutch master cylinder tonight and tried to rebleed the system. No go... I still get not pressure on the cluch handle.

I need help.... I am close to putting the bike in the back of my truck and taking it to Erico Motorsports. I would like to avoid this if possible if the problem is only my mis-bleeding of the clutch line. Would anyone be willing to give me a hand?

I live over near Wash Park and will supply all the beer and or money necessary to get my monster back in working order!

Please let me know, Thanks.

Derek

Did you get this figured out?

Did you check to make sure your slave cylinder is ok (not leaking, seized, etc)?

Also, did you post this in the tech section of the main board? lots of knowledgeable folks there. Smiley

If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.
